Cycle-Smart Cyclo-Cross Event, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 1 and 2
Happy Halloween to everybody. If you are looking for something to do this weekend, come to the park to see a really different and exciting event. Cyclo-cross is, in my opinion, a combination of a mountain bike race and steeple-chase. The bikers vary in skill level from novice to international professionals. There are even races for the children. This event is really fun to watch as the bikers travel through all the terrains the park has to offer, in some places, most bikers have to get off their bike and carry the bike up the hills! They travel on the roadways, walkways, ball field and even the volleyball court.
Season pass holders enter the park free, all other spectators pay only $5 per car, if you plan on coming both days, buy a two day pass for $7.50!
If you do plan on coming please be aware that because of the start/finish line location, all traffic in the park flows in the opposite direction of the normal flow and all traffic will exit out Sunoco on Rt. 9.
